The trust’s proposed management restructure would result in a loss of 25.4 WTE posts.
Plans to reduce its workforce by 300 WTE from 2011 to 2014.
Plans to decrease its workforce by 491 WTE. This includes 146 nursing and midwifery posts, and 72 other clinical.
Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust has reduced 78 posts against a target of 222 post reductions.
Reducing 22 posts, namely APs, Band 5 & 6 nurses and support staff
Plans to reduce 142 posts from its clinical and corporate directorates. 28 Bands 5 & 6 nursing posts that will be lost.
713 posts will be lost within the Trust. Of the 713 posts, 595 vacant posts will be deleted
Consulting on its management restructuring which will reduce its workforce by 45 WTE.
Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has placed 131 clinical staff (clinical managers, matrons, nurses, HCA’s and few admin) ‘at risk’ out of a pool of 431 staff in their medical department (Letter to Trade Unions for the Purpose of collective consultation dated 25th October 2010)
Have temporarily closed Hawthorn Day Hospital at Harrogate District Hospital and Sunbeck House.
Consulting on service restructuring that will affect around 182 staff. A specialist surgical ward may close, leading to 30 posts being reduced. (Data collected June 2010)
